All these are accomplished through the hard work of our project/programme coordinating personnel domiciled at each of the twenty seven(27) local Government Areas of the state. These personnel are very functional in data collection. Haven analysed the data, the Bureau now maintains a data base of poverty indicators. This has helped the Bureau to reach to all corners of the twenty seven (27) local government Areas, and kept them ever ready in assisting Imo State Government in the distribution of any materials that is aimed at getting to the grass roots, especially when humanitarian in nature.poverty is of multidimension, hence multifaceted. It includes dignity rights deprivation, the inability to meet up with one's social responsibilities, and or lack of opportunity to access the common resource. By the National Policy on poverty eradication , it is a dynamic process of socio-economic and political deprivation, which affects communities via individual households, resulting in lack of access to basic necessities of life such as food, shelter, cloths in addition to good health services, employment, education etc.
